I’ve been trying to get my Instagram page for my small handmade candle shop off the ground for months. Posting daily, stories, interacting with followers — all that. But the follower count barely budged, and it got really discouraging.

Sometimes I think how unpredictable growing an online presence can be. You can try all the right things, post consistently, engage, and still have days where growth feels random or like it’s stuck. Then suddenly, something clicks, maybe a post or timing, and things take off for a bit. There’s always this weird mix of strategy and luck involved, and that’s what keeps it interesting but also a bit stressful. It makes me wonder how much we can actually control versus how much we just have to ride out the ups and downs. It’s like a slow dance between being patient and trying new tactics without getting too discouraged
